The setting was perfect, near the ferry and the many lovely bars nearby that serve breakfast. I had a nice size and budget room here with tea/coffee and shared bathroom plus an electric kettle. The public parking was onsite, good service.

For a pleasant stay, consider bringing earplugs for a quieter night due to traffic noise from the main road.

The location shines, right in the heart of Oban. The budget triple room was clean and spacious. I appreciated the flexibility of the staff. They quickly arranged our late check-in and even managed to get us a twin room despite initial unavailability. The receptionist did a great job handling a long line of guests when the weather caused delays, which can't have been easy. There were areas needing improvement. Shared bathrooms felt cramped at times, especially during busy mornings. There were minor issues with the lighting in our room that could use some attention. A mixed bag but with some charming aspects, especially for those on a budget.

Absolutley horrified by the conditions. I found another guest's earring in my bed and, to top it off, no one ever came to clean the rooms during my entire stay. I expected at least a complimentary upgrade or something, considering I had the misfortune of staying here. Almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't.

Oban vibes 🌊
The room was super clean and comfy, like a lekker retreat after a day out. Chommie at reception was so helpful, even managed to sort out fresh towels for us. Plus, the location was sharp-sharp, right near everything!
The shared bathroom could've used a bit more love-just a bit cramped at times.

The location is a real gem, right in the heart of the area. The room's temperature was decent.
Several issues stood out . The furniture was quite shabby. For example, a nightstand made of breezeblocks and a plank of wood makes you question the level of care taken here. Security seems like an afterthought. The front door was often wide open without any apparent lock. Shared bathroom conditions were less than ideal. You could hear everything from other rooms, and there's a lack of basic supplies as I found the toilet roll wasn't replenished. The TV was a prop, disconnected and dust-covered. The experience was a mixed bag, leaning towards below average when considering the price.
